Multi-Berry Fruit Yogurt Smoothy

This smoothy has become a post run morning drink for me and I love it. We make ours in the magic bullet so it is quick and easy to clean up.

Note: We often substitute other fruits in the recipe like pineapple, cherries, banana. If you really want to health this thing up consider adding a bit of fresh raw kale or spinach, though I would experiment with it yourself to find how much to add without changing the flavor too much (kale can be a little bitter)

Recipe:

  • 3/4 cup yogurt (we make ours from organic raw milk)
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed (We use a coffee grinder for ours)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (adds just a touch of spice)
  • equal parts cranberry juice concentrate and water to fill the cup
